| My circumstances: |
| Emergency Services worker living in London. For a number of reasons found myself spending more than I was earning, and keeping it quiet away from my wife. She works for the same organisation as me. We had remortgaged three times and were at the limit of borrowing and have a secured loan.<br> I owed £31k to 7 different firms, and was taking from one to pay the minimum on the others. Neg Equity of 14k and numerous arguments later I realised I had to do something about my financial position. £382 per month for the next five years , pending reviews, but a weight off my(our) shoulders. |

| IVA accepted today, 17th December 2008. I will NEVER have another credit card. Dividend was 49p in the pound and around about £15k written off. |
