| My circumstances: |
| I am a computer engineer living near Manchester. I had around £80,000 of unsecured debt with no assets. |
| My interaction with the company: |
| I was put through to Grosvenor Partners (GP) by Thomas Charles (TC). When TC passed my details to GP, I was called back the same day and an appointment was arranged for a phone interview the day after. <br> <br> They called on time, explained how the process worked and made sure any questions I had were answered. We then went through my circumstances and statement of affairs thoroughly so that we both understood the way things were. Although the IP was late for a meeting as my call overran - he did not cut me off or end the call and instead kept answering my questions. The next day I received the intro paperwork which I completed. A couple of weeks later I received the proposal itself. This was delayed slightly by Christmas which is totally understandable. I signed these forms and sent them back. Shortly after Christmas they were sent out to my creditors. Two weeks later the creditors meeting was held and it was decided to accept my proposal with a slightly increased payment. |
| Why I gave the ratings I did: |
| I rated them highly because no questions were left unanswered and I felt I had a great team on my side. Knowing that you have this sort of team dealing with your troubles really puts your mind at ease and even before the IVA is agreed, you can start to relax, you know things are in hand. |
| One thing they did - which really impressed me: |
| The service I have received has to be classed as outstanding. I cannot remember how many emails I sent to Heves Irfan but they were *all* answered within 2 hours. To someone in my situation, having someone who was easily contactable and who could and did answer all of my questions was simply a god send. |
| One thing they did - which I felt could be improved: |
| Despite trying to think of something, I really cant. Everything from start to finish was executed efficiently and without delay and backed with first class support. |
| Other points |
| In the end I believe I was able to write off around £40,000 or so. An IVA really shouldnt be considered as an easy way out - there is a lot of commitment involved and isnt for everyone. I have learned the hard way how to handle money - its a lesson I wont soon be forgetting! |

| Comment: I can confirm that this is the review of a real customer of our firm. All of our firm's reviews are genuine. What a pity that someone can anonymously log on and, in 15 seconds of mis-typing, attempt to rubbish something that a genuine customer has taken great deal of trouble to post. If THEIR posting sounds like an advert it is because our firm strives to live up to its advertising and our customers obviously think that we do. | ||
