My circumstances:
I am a single parent trying to keep my head above water with £18000 worth of debt. May not sound huge amount but when you only work part time would take forever to clear (if ever!!) No assets.
My interaction with the company:
Having been passed on from iva.com to Melaine Giles for advise she cotacted me about 10 minutes later. Melanie set up a phone appointment with myself and explained the info i would need for this. I had my heart set on an iva but having gone through the figures Melanie gave me some very sound advise. There was no chance of an iva being accepted because i did not earn enough. However, bankruptcy was a very good solution for my problems. When Melanie said that my heart skipped a beat and the panic set in. But having discussed all of the information related to bankruptcy with Melanie i can see that she is right it is the best option for me and i thank her very much for being so honest with me.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I have rated Melanie 10/10 because she didnt just say what she thought i wanted to hear. She gave me non judgemental advice, without beating around the bush. Now i can start the bankruptcy process and stop kidding myself and finally sort out my debts.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
giving me her phone number to call if i had problem with bankruptcy forms and is not charging me a penny for her help!!!
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
I honestly cannot give one - she was brilliant!!

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
