| My circumstances: |
| I am a Sales Manager in Hull. At the time of contacting Simple Debt Solutions we had joint debts of £39k, and property with £16.6k equity |
| My interaction with the company: |
| The whole process was very quick as we had been refered on by a debt management company as all other options had been explored. The review of the case took a couple of days with a recommendation that a full and final settlement could be reached, and the IVA would last for a period of 3 months, after which we would be released. The proposal was received within a few days of this offer of help. The IVa was implemented in the court in February and completion was in Mid May. The proposal was accepted with only one caveat on the IVA which was we had to provide a minimum dividend of £0.40p in the £. |
| Why I gave the ratings I did: |
| I rate Simple Debts Solutions as a 10 out of 10 for the following reasons:<br> <br> (1) The speed at which the process was completed, as every day lost meant our debts increased.<br> (2) They managed to keep a higher equity value in our house than I ever expected.<br> (3) The Full and final option put forward meant we spent only 3 months from inception to completion in the IVA.<br> (4) Simple Debt Solution after appointment dealt with all creditors and paperwork, and the endless phone calls from creditors stopped overnight. |

| After acceptance of the IVA, we no longer had to deal with creditors all correspondence and paperwork was undertaken by Simple Debt Solutions. If you ever go through this, not to have the phone ringing all the time from people from collections Departments is such a releif, as at times it felt as though you were being harassed all the time. Overnight it all stopped |

| We are solvent, and although in the current financial climate of food, oil and fuel prices money is tight, we no longer have the added worry about debt payments. The dividend paid was £0.40p in the £, and the amount written off was £23.3k |
