| My circumstances: |
| I am an Operations Manager in Stevenage Hertfordshire and had debts mounting to £46,000 and living in a rented accomodation. I broke my hand and was unable to work for six months, I was still getting paid while off work but overtime is what I relied on to make up my salary as the basic wasnt enough. <br> So having a broken hand and couldnt work this was the end of me doing overtime and my earning were cut in half.<br> I knew right away I was in trouble with my finances because I had more going out than what was coming in. <br> I bascically robbed Peter to pay Paul by overdrawing my account, taking out credit cards and Loans just to make up for the short fall because I had no other source to earn some cash.<br> I really struggled my wife at the time was only working part time and her wages was enough just to pay her bills and to get by. Later on I went to the banks to consolidate all my finances but I was unsuccessful every time I tried. I sat down and thought what can I do and who can I turn to but immediately a thought came to mind to do some research online and see what help there is. I google searched debt management and read about IVA and Bankrupcy. I visited Clear Debt website and read through all the information there was on the whole Debt Management and the testimonials written by others who were in similar situation as I was and suddenly thought there is some hope here so from there it was a phone call away to Clear Debt and by the time I spoke to one of there personnel work started immediately. |
| My interaction with the company: |
| I was amaized by the courtesy of the person I spoke with at the time he explained it all to me and I knew right away that there is some hope here. After explaining I went away and had a day to think it all over and when the information pack arrived the next day there was a better insight in it all then I decided to make my decision. I completed the forms and sent back with all the supporting documents. I also had follow up call to find out if I was ok and offered help which I thought was really good. Within Four weeks of making that important call to Clear Debt my IVA was accepted and that was the answer to my dreams. |
| Why I gave the ratings I did: |
| I can genuinely say that I rate Clear Debt 10 out 10 for their professionalism on the whole csae and the way they have handled my case, They were right on it the moment I made that call the work began. I fell 100% comfortable with them and trusted them. I have already recommended them to a colleague of mind and will continue to do so. |

| My current circumstances are £1,300 better than £2,000 they were 2 months ago and I have learn that I dont need to rely on credit anymore I money to last me till my next payday. Half of my total debt £46.000 will be written off |
