My circumstances:
I live in rented accommodation after loosing my house in a nasty separation with my ex partner. Struggled with a debt of £35000 and running a business as a same day courier, very hard to make a living. After a very good friend of mine sat me down and looked at my debts and urged me to seek advice.<br> I trawled the Internet and came across various debt forums (sorry didnt find this site) and in the end contacted Payplan. After a lengthy discussion with them on my various options I decided to take the IVA route. It was all very painless and only 3 debtors voted, no one else bothered, so my IVA of was accepted. <br> I have now changed jobs and my life is far less stressful. Can even enjoy myself and dont have to worry about the Post person. Best move I made with 12 months under my belt and have had my 1st review with no increase to my payments life just gets better.
My interaction with the company:
When I first contacted Payplan, they arranged a time to call me back. They where very sympathetic and explained in great detail the various routes I could take. After the interview I was not put under any pressure to proceed, that was left to me.<br> On the day of the creditors meeting they rang me back with the results at the time arranged with a positive outcome.<br> Since then they have contacted me on a regular basis to see if everything is OK.<br>

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
