My circumstances:
JOINT IVA WITH MY HUSBAND DEBT OF 98K EQUITY OF 45K
My interaction with the company:
HAD MEETING WITH LOCAL CAB DEBT ADVISE WHO ARRANGED MEETING WITH GRANT THORNTON, THEY FLEW OVER FROM BELFAST TO MEET WITH US. EXPLAINED THE IVA PROCESS FULLY AND SUGGESTED FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT IVA WHICH WAS NOT SOMETHING I HAD READ ABOUT BEFORE.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
OUR IVA WAS LONG AND DRAWN OUT BECAUSE OF THE PROBLEMS WE HAD IN OBTAINING RE-MORTGAGE BECAUSE OF LEVEL OF DEBT. WE WERE DECLINED BY ONE COMPANY BUT THEY FOUND ANOTHER BROKER FOR US AND THIS TIME THE REMORTGAGE WENT THROUGH. THEY ALSO HAD PLAN B FOR 5 YEAR IVA IN THE BACKGROUND.<br>
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
TWO FACE TO FACE MEETINGS. ALWAYS WILLING TO SPEAK AND OFFER REASSURANCE. SPEEDY PAPER WORK, CANT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH.

I AM NOW POST IVA AS MINE LASTED FOR 12 MONTHS ONLY. MY DIVIDEND WAS 39P IN £. NEARLY £58K WAS WRITTEN OFF.<br> I LIVE WITHIN MY MEANS, I DONT HAVE SPARE IVA PAYMENT AS I REMORTGAGED AND I AM STILL PAYING THIS, HOWEVER MY IVA BUDGET WAS FARE AND LEFT ME PLENTLY TO LIVE ON.<br> WHAT I HAVE LEARNT IS NEVER BORROW MONEY AGAIN EVER, NEVER HAVE A CREDIT CARD AGAIN EVER.<br>

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
