| My circumstances: |
| I had massed unsecured debts of £118000 over a period of 3 years. I worked as an agency nurse earning £56K a year until October 2006 when suddenly because of cutbacks in the NHS the lucrative supply of agency shifts suddenly dried up. I had no option but to return to working fulltime for the NHS but at a much reduced salalary of £25K per year. There was than no way I could meet all my borrowing commitments. I thought my only option was bankruptcy,meaning that I would lose everything including our house. I contacted a few Debt management companies before finally choosing the IVA bureau. Melanie Giles successfully and negotiated a full and final settlement with my creditors and my IVA proposal was accepted on 21st September. |

| Melanie and her team were obviously committed to finding a workable solution to my financial difficulties. Other companies that I had contacted previously did not record my circumstances accurately and made assumptions that were not in fact true. |

| I was amazed to receive phone calls from Melanie herself well into the evening as she worked late on fine tuning my IVA proposal. Obviously very dedicated! |

| I am funding my full and final IVA proposal by raising a remortgage on our house. This of course means higher remortgage repayments but Melanie has ensured that we can afford these.We now have the chance to keep our finances under control and from now on will live within our budget.<br> The dividend was 28p in the pound and I have been able to write off almost £85000 of the £118000 that was originally owed. |
