| My circumstances: |
| Myself and my husband ran a small business for six years, which was successful. We sold it a couple of years ago and I found alternative employment, but my husband didnt and hasnt yet. We received an amount of money - although not large - for the sale of the business which we used to pay off creditors as much as possible, but we still owed HMRC monies and have been endeavouring to pay their bill off. Although I am on a healthy salary all of my money was going on trying to clear this debt and run my home, which led to other debts. I was stressed and worried all the time and it was beginning to affect my sleep, which meant I was tired going to work! It was the same for my husband. |

| I rang McCambridge Duffy and a lovely girl was extremely helpful and confident about my situation. She fully explained the workings of an IVA, which I hadnt previously heard of! She then referred me on to Mr Michael Peoples who contacted me that same day. Michael was non-judgemental, which really pleased me! He was helpful, professional and friendly and he knew his stuff! He helped us all the way through the process - nothing was too much trouble. We both met him personally. Everything was organised and the IVA was passed without hesitation. I would highly recommend McCambridge Duffy and most especially Michael. |

| Ive learnt about IVAs! Ive learnt that I didnt need to suffer in silence, that there are ways people in debt can be helped. I now have a monthly amount of money I pay straight to McCambridge Duffy and they pay certain amounts to my creditors! Perfect! I no longer have nasty letters coming through my door! There has been approximately £30k written off my debt. |
