My circumstances:
we are a copule in west yorkshire with 2 daughters,,we entered in to an iva 5 years ago ,,we paid 265 a month to clear our debts on the understanding we would be debt free in that time ,,we have never missed a payment and have come to the end ,,however!!!! we now have to get a loan for 15.000 which is going to take another 10 years to pay off!!!!!! they said this was in the small print,,,we believed the last payment WOULD have been the last ,,,they are now wanting equity from the house and arranging another loan for us with interest which is going to take another 5 years to pay off,,,i thought the whole idea was to be debt free but thats not the case ,,,so anyone entering into one of these BEWARE,,,or you will be paying forever,,,
My interaction with the company:
good communication on the phone nice and friendly,
Why I gave the ratings I did:
i rated them 6 out of ten beause i feel we are back at the beggining again,,it wasnt mentioned at the beggining of the agreement about the loan and the time it would take to pay it off,,,gutted is not the word,,,

tell you about the small print before you entered into the agreement

we wrote off what we thoght was all our debts,,but that was not the case

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
