My circumstances:
I am a professional working in London, and living in my own flat (mortgaged) in Essex. I had a huge amount of debt that had built up over a number of years, which I finally realised I could no longer cope with. After contacting cleardebt in the Summer 2005, my IVA was accepted Aug 2005.
My interaction with the company:
I rang them after extensive research using the internet. Explained my situation and they recommended I proceed with an IVA. I completed and returned all necessary documentation, and after some small changes the IVA was accepted at the creditor meeting. I found them to be friendly and helpful - in particular my liaison with Vicky Fletcher (but Im not sure if she still works with the company or not).
Why I gave the ratings I did:
Having not dealt with the IP directly (I liaised with his assistant (see comment above), Id like to say that they certainly helped and Id recommend people looking at them as a possible solution to their debt problems.

Other points
Ive been in the IVA for 18months now, and its certainly made me more "financially aware". As far as I can remember the divident agreed was 51p in the pound, but Im not sure of the amount of money that was written off. Im now looking into the possibilities of ending the IVA early (which Im sure a lot of people do).

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
