My circumstances:
I found that my debt was just getting out of control, I could not make just the basic payments after my divorce. I found the whole process of going through an IVA stress free with all the help and assisstance I had from Debt Lifeboat.
My interaction with the company:
I phoned and made an appointment, they explained all the different options to me and that I would be eligible for an IVA. I completed all the forms and agreed a monthly payment whice the creditors agreed to. Very simple process.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
Excellent throughout my IVA, including when I continued to get letters from one creditor, they wrote to them on my behalf and after a couple of letters they stopped harrassing me.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
They worked quickly when I was being harrassed, my yearly review was always on time and they always calculated my payments fairly.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:

I have now completed my IVA and have learnt that you do not need credit to survive. I had £32,600.00, dividends of 34.39 pence in the pound were paid, totalling over £11,200.00.<br> Therefore over £21,400.00 worth of debts were written-off.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
