My circumstances:
we had a mountain of debt and very little equity in the property.
My interaction with the company:
Firm were very sympathetic when we contacted them as we were sure we would be made bankrupt and lose everything. Gave reassurance and took the fear away from us and said they were sure they could help by arranging an IVA. A proposal was prepared which was accepted after some minor modifications at the creditor meeting.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
We scored them highly because they were always very helpful and friendly and always there to give us reassurance. Our circumstances changed dramatically when I lost my job and was unable to work through ill health. They suggested approaching creditors for a variation on three separate occassions which were all accepted. The upshot is that we have completed our IVA after finally selling our house and giving the small amount of equity as full and final settlement.They were brilliant in suggesting solutions and keeping us informed of the outcomes. We felt they were on our side. We developed a good relationship with our personal insolvency advisor which was really great as we could contact her when we needed to and knew she would get back to us quickly.

We have completed our IVA this month after nearly six years and we will never ever take out another credit card or loan.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
