My circumstances:
I am an engineer living in the MIdlands that due to a bad marriage split and bad spending habits of an exwife was left with over £30,000 of debt. I was struggling to keep up repayments on store cards, credit cards and loans and although I wanted to repay the debt found myself struggling month to month.
My interaction with the company:
I was introduced via a company called Debt Specialists (which I contacted) initially. They then advised that an IVA was the best option open to me due to the amount of debts I had. They then arranged for Varden Nuttall to contact me. They then went through all my options and advised accordingly
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I was impressed by how sympathetic and knowledgeable the staff were. They always kept me informed about the process and how long it would take.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
When I lost my job and found another job, my whole proposal had to be re-done. They were very helpful in preparing another proposal (on the day of my creditors vote meeting) and this was re-arranged for a few months later

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
