My circumstances:
My husband and I are both working and we realised we were getting further behind with the repayments of our loans etc, we then decided that it was time to act else we knew we would be in trouble as we had totalled up a huge debt.
My interaction with the company:
we were passed onto Varden Nuttal by a debt management company who advised us that it may be in our best interest to go down the IVA route.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I have given all 10 out of 10 for all but 1 question and the only reason I gave a 9 on this was because I feel that for the average person the context & wording of any IVA arrangment + all parts, would have been better in Janet & John style for me to have understood exactly what is involved, its not a fault on Vardens behalf, its just an understanding issue with the general public, we dont generally talk in legal speak & so alot of things may as well be in foreign, other than this I cannot fault the service.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Treated us like human beings and not the scum of the earth for getting into debt.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
only the legal terms could be simplified, so along with the legal documents a simplified explanation of these terms could be included so that customers can actually understand them. 
Other points
We are currently in a good position with out IVA and are due to finish early, we are currently paying back 100 pence in the pound as our wages have improved, therefore this is pleasing to us and probably is to the creditors too. I am not sure that we will have written anything off as mentioned earlier we are paying back all that we owe.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
