My circumstances:
I am an Engineering Manager living in Somerset, I had 80k of debt and property with my share of equity 34k. My wifes debts were 16k and not enough for her to do an IVA. Solution: remortgage, pay off wifes debt and do a full and final IVA. My first IVA proposal failed with Synergi. I lost so much with them and they took money from me.
My interaction with the company:
My first point of contact was on line with Tina Shortland. She refered my information to their IP Melanie Giles. I went to Cardiff a few days later for a face to face interview. Melanie concluded that I had receieved bad advice and that was main reason my IVA was previously rejected.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I found Melanie Giles and her staff most helpfull.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Melanie stopped a charging order on our property.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
Zilch! Nothing.. 
Other points
Never use the Debt Counsellors / Synergi. I have learnt a lot by becoming a forum member on IVA.co.uk My dividend was 34p in the £. Obviously, the Creditors wrote off 66p in th £.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
