My circumstances:
I am a self employed surveyor living in the Rochdale area. I am married with 2 children. I am a home owner. Over approx 20 years I accumulated approx £30-35k debt ranging from credit cards, catalogues, but mainly tax arrears. There was no equity in the property.
My interaction with the company:
I was introduced to Varden and Nuttall from an outside source and a meeting with an advisor was set up in approx 7 days from the initial contact. The meeting was informal and friendly. The advisor was happy to listen to my moans, groans and general fears with regard to my situation. The options avaiable to me were fully explained and after several phone calls and e-mails for clarification, (which were answered/dealt with quickly), it was decided the best course of action was to apply for an IVA. The IVA was accepted. This has made a massive difference to my/our lives.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
There were no hitches and I was kept fully informed throughout the process. I felt the matter was dealt with efficiantly and effectively.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
