| They recommended joint IVA. Took ages to sort out and get to creditors meeting. Was given wrong information as my oh is repaying my debts. Once youre in an IVA they dont want to know. |

| Comment: This post is a good example on how bad DFD really are. They are truly shocking. I just hope someone from OFT or the appropriate bodies see the feedback and shut this unethical company down. It's not if, but when this awful company get the punishment they deserve. | ||

| Comment: I have just completed an IVA which was extended from the 5 years to 6 and have been awaiting my completion certificate since the beginning of November 2011, I have now been told that my file is on hold until I fill in and send back documentation they sent to me a month after my completion in order for their nominated agent (Equity in Finance Ltd) to possibly for claim mis-sold PPI, the agent gets 33% excluding VAT and the rest apparently goes to | ||

| Comment: Been with Debt Free now for over 2 years. I wish I had never bothered. Payments are going up which I cant afford. I have told them this but they are not interested. They are trying to extend the payment to 72 months but I dont want to do this. That bad last year I had a nervous breakdown from it all. I wish I had never got involved with debt free direct. I thought they were meant to help, not meant to stick the boot in you and that is what | ||

| Comment: I am employed by Debt Free Direct, and since this review was posted, we have nearly halved the length of time it takes on average for a client to have their creditors meeting. We have also set up a dedicated Customer Care Department to ensure we can best assist and help clients throughout the life of their IVA. Staff turnover has also reduced since this was posted. | ||
