| My circumstances: |
| I am a flight attendant living near gatwick airport. I had over 50k worth of debt accumulated from university, loans and high spending on my credit cards. I have no equity on a propert as I rent. |
| My interaction with the company: |
| My initial contact with the company was via a their website after seeing an advert on a local train. After submitting an initial review Clear Debt sent me a welcome pack with very clear explanations about what an IVA would mean for me, with some forms to fill in if I wanted to proceed with an application. I did this as was desperate to get out of my situation. I was assigned one of their agents, Holly, to assist me with a proposal, and spoke to her on numerous occasions. Very quickly Cleardebt drafted me all the neccessary proposals, which I signed and the final IVA was accepted in a matter of weeks!!! |
| Why I gave the ratings I did: |
| Clear Debts customer service is outstanding. For the first time in a number of years I feel I was able to discuss my money/debt situation with somebody who didnt judge and actually took time to listen, far different from the experience I had had with credit card companies and banks. Clear Debt really do go out of their way to ensure that a proposal is drafted that is both acceptable to yourself and likely to be accepted by your creditors. Their advice is honest and trustworthy. <br> |

| Their down to earth manner in which they explain everything to you!! If there was a reason why something had to be changed on my proposal they clearly explained why. Their staff are friendly and really do seem to want to help! |

| Absolutely nothing could be improved!! Keep it up!!! |
| Other points |
| My IVA propsal was accepted in October last year. The IVA propsal that ClearDebt and my IP were able to draft for me enabled me to write off 75% of my debt. I am now living a much happier life, no more worries about "how am I going to pay that credit card bill this month?". I really leant my lesson in the past about overspending, but with Clear Debts advice and IVA propsal, after nearly a year of being in my IVA I am so much happier. Life is stress free. And now I really am thinking if I cant afford it, I cant have it!! I now budget properly each month. Far different from the past when I used to just put it on a credit card and worry about it later - Thanks ClearDebt!! |
