Insolvency Practitioner Ratings
The quality of IVA proposal: 3 out of 10
Overall Insolvency Practitioner Rating: 6 out of 10

My circumstances:
i was recommended to them from churchwood finance.
I wasnt told i wouldnt be able to move companies if i wasnt happy with their services and my papers were not returned
My interaction with the company:
they were very good and quick at getting my iva set up but i felt they were working for my creditors
Why I gave the ratings I did:
on my first review i was most displeased with them.
3 payslips sent to them got letter to say everything was ok to them asking me to ask employer for copies of payslips from the previous year. to 12 months payslips and 12 months bank statements.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
the speed inwhich they got me my iva
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
they could have worked out my proposal before they agreed for me to give up half my overtime. And they could have warned me that i wasnt allowed a mortgage. And didnt say i could not later try for a loan to pay off the remainder i only have one road if i want to pay off my iva with a consolidation loan in order for me to get a mortgage
Other points
still paying it off

Comment: Maybe you should speak with you IP about the re-mortgage, as there is nothing stopping you paying your IVA of early by way of re-mortgage, and infact your creditors would probably like to see the money early instead of waiting five years, however given you are in an IVA you will find it hard to get a mortgage in the current market, and you would probablly need around 70% LTV if it is at all possible.

Comment: If your an IVA you couldn't afford a mortgage as a key condition of IVAs is that you pay as much as you can (all your surplas income)to your creditors after all their still agreeing to write off most of the remaining debt. If you IP wasn't drafting your proposal with the creditors in mind it probably wouldn't get accepted

    Good Points
Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
