My circumstances:
My wife and I had cumulative debts of over £100k that had built up over several years. After really struggling to meet our monthly commitments over the past 12 months, we sought advice.
My interaction with the company:
I went to an advisor first, a company called Thomas Charles & Co, who briefly explained my options. They collated all the initial paperwork and then forwarded onto Philip Gill.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
The ratings reflect the overall length of time it took to propose the IVA. In hindsight, I wish I had gone to Philip Gill directly which would of saved an awfull lot of time (and money as they charged nearly £1600 as a referal fee)
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
The insolvency practioner, Mealanie Giles, was extremely understanding and thoroughly explained the pros and cons of our different options. In no way did she try to persuade us to choose one option over another.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
I wish they had explained just how long it would take from our initial meeting to enable us to provide a better idea when dealing with our creditors.
Other points
Our IVA was accepted with a dividend of 25p per £, thus a 75% write off. I still feel a moral obligation to repay our debt, if not in full, and therefore an IVA was more appealing than bankruptcy.

    Good Points
Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
