|I live with my elderly parents and had approximately 17k of debt. I was struggling to pay all interest charges and many of the debt had been passed on to debt collectors so it was very confusing keeping track of everything. Also a case of burying my head in the sand hoping it would all go away instead of facing up to my situation.|
|My interaction with the company:|
|I called them and dealt with an advisor called Cheryl Allen, she was extremely patient and understanding as I was in quite a pickle. She talked me through the procedure in a very methodical and simplistic way. I felt extremely relieved by the end of each conversation with her.|
|Why I gave the ratings I did:|
|I rated the company 9/10 as I personally dont think it could have been handled more efficiently. I did not have to worry about anything, Cheryl and David dealt with it all on my behalf. Any debt collectors that contacted me I referred to them and never heard from them again.|
|One thing they did - which really impressed me:|
|The thing that impressed me the most was the speed of which it was all sorted out, as it literally took a few weeks. I thought it would have taken a lot longer. I also felt like I was dealing with someone who actually had a heart on the other end of the phone, not like some of the people that had been chasing me for money and some of the other companies I had contacted beforehand. It was very comforting.|
|One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:|
|I dont believe anything could have been improved in all honesty.|
|I did what was called a lump sum IVA and I managed to write off well over half of my debt. I have learned that burying your head in the sand gets you into deeper trouble. Ive well and truly learnt my lesson and will not be getting any further credit under any circumstances.|
