My circumstances:
I owned a company that went bust. I obtained personal loans for the company rather than business loans which meant that I then became liable for these debts.
My interaction with the company:
I initially contacted ClearDebt and discussed my options over the phone. When I decided to apply for an IVA, I had face-to-face meetings with one of the members of staff. I didnt have to make any changes to the original proposal, and my IVA was accepted at the creditor meeting. The members of staff were brilliant; very helpful.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
There was always somebody to talk to, and if I was unable to speak to my case manager, my calls were always returned. Fantastic.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Communication - I never felt like there was a barrier you had to cross when talking to somebody. I felt as if I was receiving a personal service, even though my case manager probably had several clients.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:

Other points
I settled my IVA on what I had paid to date due to ongoing health issues. IVA was proposed offering 63p/£ and I settled on 30p/£.<br> It was easy to get into debt, and the IVA was a good decision. It was hard to start with as I did not have the credit facility to help me get by. I wont be obtaining credit any time soon!

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
