| My circumstances: |
| A retired teacher living in Shropshire supporting her husband who was out of work due to disability and elderly mother who she kept. Ongoing intrest on debt kept making it too hard to make payments, the debt crept up over the years and eventually exceeded £50,000. |
| My interaction with the company: |
| We rang up ClearDebt and went to see them in Manchester, they made their recommendations for my mothers situation and resolved the matter, taking control of the situation for her and helping with all the paperwork. The IVA was accepted and has been efficiently managed ever since. |
| Why I gave the ratings I did: |
| They were rated ten out of ten specifically for being so efficient and didnt belittle somebody who found themselves in a terrible financial situation. Unfortunately my Mother was in a terrible financial situation which in my opinion could have eventually killed her with stress, nobody seemed to be able to help and we ideally wanted to avoid bankrupcy but thought there was no other option until I found clear debt on the internet and we went and discussed everything with them. My mother felt foolish for the mess she had got into but they didnt make my mother feel foolish but helped resolve the problem and thanks to them she now sleeps at night and looks younger for the help and support she was given in a terrible time. |

| They were highly professional and non judgmental of people who found themselves in a terrible situation. They were extremely customer friendly, approachable and ensured that one person managed the IVA and followed it through. They were so efficient and took the pressure off the client immediately with their efficient resolution. |
| One thing they did - which I felt could be improved: |
| Obviously there will be some unsatisfied customers but I cannot speak highly enough of Clear Debt and their staff, I cant see one thing which could be improved in my experience with them. |
