Overall Insolvency Practitioner Rating: 10 out of 10

My circumstances:
I am separated from my husband and living alone in Basingstoke. I had over 70k of debt and was in negative equity, after taking out a secured loan against my property
My interaction with the company:
I rang Thomas Charles and spoke to Bryan Snowden about my debts. He was very helpful and passed my case to Grosvenor Partners. Thoughout the process, everyone was extremely helpful. My creditors agreed to the IVA at the creditors meeting, with some modification.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I rated Grosvenor Partners 10 out of 10 because they provided me with excellent support and advice, and also the timeliness from our original meeting to the IVA being accepted was really fast. After suffering many sleepless nights, Grosvenor Partners managed to put my mind at rest and Mark Bassford even managed to make me smile at one point during our meeting (in my current circumstances, this was a great achievement).
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
I was really impressed by the speed that Grosvenor Partners worked towards bringing my case to a satisfactory conclusion.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
I was completely satisfied with the service I received
Other points
My IVA was to pay 26p in the pound, therefore writing off 74% of the total sums owed. I ended up borrowing more and more money to keep up with my monthly payments and things quickly spun out of control. I have learnt not to stretch myself financially. If I can not pay cash for an item or service, then I can not afford it. Credit is NOT the answer, and if there had been anyway to repay all monies owed in full, then I would have done so.

    Good Points
Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
