| My circumstances: |
| I am full time chef living in worcestershire on average gross 1300 per month. I owed in total just over 15K. With paying rent, essentials and repayments I was living off further credit to survive. It was a terrible situation and felt like a trap living in a prison. Wish I had approached the IVA solution much earlier. The naive 20s and unforeseen circumstances dont help you with your matured 30s. Best thing I ever did was make that first step though I still remember it was the hardest step to make. |

| All this seems a blur now as it seemed terrifying at first. Approached a company through search engine. DRD.Talked my situation through thoroughly and then was fowarded onto the real pros Varden Nutall. They made it all go through smoothly. |
| Why I gave the ratings I did: |
| I cannot fault or complain about any part of the service to date from Varden. Was appointed a personal administrator for every step of the process. Many thanks to Claire and Joanne and colleagues. I know you were doing your job but the EXTRA MILE says something for the company you represent. What seemed a complicated if not intimidating process at the time was only rectified by the ongoing and readily available support. |

| Communication. From the start I began to recognise and trust the varden phone number and its extensions on my landline and mobile knowing that each time it wasnt going to be a harrassing creditor. |

| Hard to say at this present date. Hope I never have to comment on this over the next 5 years. Our legal proffessional situation has been made very clear and I know my obligations. |

| The IVA has changed my life. I have read in various forums that once your IVA has been approved for a 5 ?year contract, individuals can fall into an anti climax of disappointment. When my varden admin contacted me after I waited eagerly for the results of the creditors meeting and told me the news, a HUGE WEIGHT HAD LIFTED OFF!!!!!!!!!.One of the legal requirements of an IVA is to never obtain credit under the current agreement. I will never never ever possess a credit card or loan/ overdraft again in my life. It is one very big and painful lesson to be learned. For once it feels so rewarding and self motivating to pay for food and extras with cash or debit card knowing I will not recieve statements or letters with numbers of pounds owing. Still we live and learn. High praise to Varden Nutall for their professional help. In years to come this kind of assisstance may not be so readily available and pursuing a lifestyle good or bad on credit could be fatal to us all. |
