My circumstances:
I am a Chartered Civil Engineer, living in south Manchester and had debts, mainly credit card debts and unsecured loans of about £90,000. I own my own house (mortgagae) and have 2 children and my wife owns a car which is needed to get to work. I jhave a company car.
My interaction with the company:
I phoned Varden Nuttall directly as I had been through an IVA with them some 5 years previously. They were very helpful, listened to my problems and confirmed that an IVA was again the most suitable solution for my individual circumstances. They sent me some paperwork and talked me through how to fill it in, then drafted a proposal for me. A month later, it was accepted by my creditors.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I have rated them 10 out of 10 as I was impressed by how sympathetic and knowledgeable the staff were. They always kept me informed about the process and how long it would take, and someone was always on hand to answer my questions. Even though the comapny has grown since the first time I went through an IVA the personal touch is still there - you are made to feel that you matter and they will do everything to make the process as paniless as possible.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
The personal touch with a dedicated Customer Service Advisor is a great touch which again always makes you feel that it is a personal case not just a number. Recently my Customer Service Advisor has changed to Sarah Robinson and she was great in getting a debt firm of dubious repute to stop petering me - even though I had told them i was entirely happy with Varden Nuttall.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
Cant think of anything. 
Other points
I am half way through my IVA. I have learnt finally that credit cards and loans are not worth it - this will definitely be my last IVA!

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
