My circumstances:
I worked in public authority, husband lost his job and could not obtain another because of disability and had over £25,000 debt.
My interaction with the company:
I originally tried to get a loan to help pay things off but he loan company said the best option would be to apply for an IVA and put us in touch with Varden Nuttall.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I rated 7 because I obtained a very good service but I also wonder whether this servce would have been free had I pursued it through Citizens Advice.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Dealt with problems I was having quickly such as unable to pay the amount first agreed on. I was still financially suffering so they called creditors together and agreed another some subject to conditions.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
Found it quite hard to understand the yearly report and perhaps would have liked to see how much money was actually being paid off each debt instead of so much pence in the pound. 
Other points
My current circumstances is that I have now been made redundant but paid off my IVA. The important thing I have learnt is not to keep borrowing to pay off other loans etc.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
