My circumstances:
I got myself into a mess, I was robbing peter to pay paul, using credit cards to pay for things like petrol, Id never missed a payment but that didnt mean I was in control of my debts. I had looked into debt management but knew that my creditors might not freeze the interest and with my debt totalling £44,000 plus I could end up paying it back until the day I died! I needed an IVA, a light at the end of the tunnel. I phoned Cleardebt after searching the internet and reading this review forum.
My interaction with the company:
My advisor was Sarah, she was helpful and put my mind at rest. She was never judgemental. She discussed all options but did say an IVA would be the most effective way of clearing the debt with my affordablility.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I rated them 10 out of 10 as I cannot fault anything they have done, my IVA was accepted within 4 weeks!
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
The IVA proposal was very clear and easy to understand.

I had my IVA accepted on Monday and I will be celebrating with a (cheap) bottle of wine!

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
