| My circumstances: |
| Myself and my husband live with our three children in Merseyside. we had around £27000 of debit between us and a property with very little equity. My husband is self employed and so with a very high interest rate on our mortgage payments and my husbands work becoming less frequent due to the recession( i only work 16 hours a week with no overtime available) we soon found ourselves behind with payments every month until we realised that we couldnt possibly catch up and began to seriously worry about losing our home. |
| My interaction with the company: |
| Everything from the first phone call through to the IVA being accepted ran very smoothly. After the initial phone call, an information pack containing all our options arrived within a couple of days and as soon as we had decided to proceed a gentleman visited us at home to explain everything in more detail and answer any questions we had. The house call was made us feel reassured and at no point did we feel we were being judged. After that appointment we had the best nights sleep for over two years. Throughout the whole process and even now, 18 months into our IVA we have received advice and support from a fantastic team and we know Lucy is at the end of the phone if we need her. Although the IVA had been accepted, we still received some threatening letters from our creditors so we just put them in an envelope and forwarded them to Varden Nuttall who dealt with them on our behalf, which was such a relief! |
| Why I gave the ratings I did: |
| We have rated them 10/10 in every aspect because that is what they truly deserve. Every member of staff we have been in contact with has been kind, polite, understanding, knowledgeable and professional and we couldnt ask for more, even now they still make us feel as if we are their number 1 priority. |
