| My circumstances: |
| After years of using credit in a manageable way the recession hit the building trade at the same time as we had out first baby in 2007, and we quickly became totally dependant on credit and it all spiralled until we found ourselves in £46k worth of debt, constantly robbing Peter to pay Paul and getting further into debt each month! |

| After realising we were at rock bottom and going under I phoned Julia at Vincent Bond who were very helpful and talked through my options without judging and we decided an IVA was the best solution for us. VB passed me onto the IVA advice Bureau. Melanie Giles called me and talked through all of our options again and was so helpful, informative and understanding, We knew we had made the right decision. |
| Why I gave the ratings I did: |
| I gve them 10 out of 10 because they were excellent throughout, and I cant fault them at all. Ang, who put the paperwork together, Tomas, who put the proposal together and Susan who is our IP were all really helpful, supportive and made the whole process as easy as possible for us. We always felt that we had made the right decision and were in safe hands. |

| Both my husbands and my IVAs were accepted on Friday 17th September, I am paying £257 per month with a dividend of 27p and my husband is paying £318 per month with a dividend of 46p. We are both so glad to be given this opportunity to get out of the credit trap, learn a few lessons on how to live within a budget and pay off as much as possible to our creditors. A massive weight has been lifted from us and whilst not an easy option the IVA is definitely the right thing for us. |
