My circumstances:
I was divorced with approx £70K of debt and living in rented accommodation.
My interaction with the company:
I met Phillip Allen and he clearly explained my options and helped me put my proposals together. Several months into the arrangement my employer went into receivership leaving me out of work and with only state benefits to rely on. More recently, I managed to secure a divorce settlement from my ex-wife which enabled me to offer a lump sum payment in settlement of my outstanding arrangement.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
Despite it being a very unpleasant and difficult period of my life, Phillip Allen and the staff of Debt Lifeboat were always professional, polite and, at times, extremely patient in dealing with my changing circumstances throughout the arrangement.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Dsiplayed unbelievable patience whilst I was negotiating a settlement with my ex-wife.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
I dont believe anybody tells you what the true implications of having an IVA are and how they impinge on your life. An honest and frank information booklet might be useful - telling you how it will really be. 
Other points
Lesson learnt - dont live beyond your means, no matter what the circumstances.<br> <br>

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
