My circumstances:
I am a university lecturer who had built up debts of around £60k through various reasons, with no assets - an IVA was my only option apart from bankruptcy.
My interaction with the company:
I called them and went through my situation, and an IVA was recommended. It took quite a while to go through but it was very professionally produced and was accepted with no problems. Having paid the IVA for four years I am now entering the final year and it has proceeded with no problems, and I am looking forward to being debt free.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I gave 8 out of 10 as they seemed professional and gave the right advice, and were helpful with queries. Only minor reasons not to give 10 were the speed of the original proposal and minor glitches in paperwork in annual reviews (see below)
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Helpful on-the-spot advice and seemed to have very good knowledge.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
In the annual review, I was always supplied with the original proposal figures to compare my new income/expenditure with - as my circumstances changed significantly, it would be more useful to have given the previous years. On one occasion I was sent someone elses figures. However these are not serious issues. 
Other points
Only one year left of the IVA - all has proceeded fine. I will pay back most of what I owed, around 75% (of course, I would not have been able to do this without the IVA due to interest payments). Overall I am happy to recommend Debt Free Direct.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
