My circumstances:
It was a combination or bad luck and living beyond my means for too long, thought I could cope but in the end I knew I couldnt go on owing over 30k. I had heard of solutions such as debt management and IVAs.
My interaction with the company:
I went online and researched as much as I could. I read about Cleardebt on this forum and also other forums and decided that the IVA would be the best option. I gave them a call, went through my basic details then was passed through to an advisor Rebecca who went through my details, explained all options and an IVA.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
Rebecca and Adam who dealt with me the whole way were brilliant. I cant fault them.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
In my eyes whats been a very serious matter the people Ive dealt with have been excellent, reassuring and handled it brilliantly on an individual as well as professional level.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
This isnt a reflection on cleardebt however I did receive calls and letters from creditors after the IVA was accepted, Adam and Rebecca were again very reassuring explaining that not all departments are aware that IVAs have been accepted and therefore may still contact you in the beginning. Any correspondance received I now forward to them to deal with. It was just a little stressful at the time. 
Other points
Obviously not to live beyond my means again! I am paying between £150-£200 a month. Ill write over £18k off. Im paying for 6 years as majority of debt with lloyds and Im renting.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
