| My circumstances: |
| We approached the IVA Advice Bureau after researching on the internet for several weeks, although had taken over 12 months to finally make the decision to consider this option. We were looking for someone to act on our behalf who based on feedback we believed would truly make us feel part of the process as there had been negative feedback in some areas where others had felt disconnected from the process by some companies.<br> <br> We are both in full-time employment and for many years we have worked 6-7 day weeks to keep afloat. <br> We had over 100k in unsecured debts and a very small amount of equity in the house. After careful consideration we decided to go for a joint IVA and today this was approved.<br> We cannot truly express in words how this feels! |
| My interaction with the company: |
| We rang the IVA Advice Bureau, and were called back within 24 hours who listened to our situation and proposed the IVA, the forms were promptly sent out and from then on we were supported through the whole process, either by email and by phone.<br> Having the conference call and then meeting with Melanie to go through the complexities of our proposal (and I assure you there were many), was hugely beneficial and within 4 weeks of this the creditors meeting took place. After a slight modification proposed by the creditors, which we accepted, the IVA was approved at the creditors meeting. <br> I truly felt that the supporting team really went the extra mile to make us feel involved and guided us well when we needed clarification or better understanding. |

| How approachable and supportive the team were.<br> Yes the team were very professional in their approach and you really felt that it was so important that they did their best for you. |
| One thing they did - which I felt could be improved: |
| Melanie seems to be really in demand which we can understand based on our experience and there were a couple of occasions that there was a delayed response by email, but that could have been around our impatience to progress on. |
