My circumstances:
I am an accounts technician with £42k of debt. I jointly own my home with my husband. Debts - all credit cards - spiralled out of control after years of switching between credit card companies who offered 6 or 9 month promotional rates. Eventually found myself in situation where I could not meet minimum monthly repayments.
My interaction with the company:
From the minute I spoke to Charlie and to Caroline I couldnt belive how helpful and friendly they were. They were sympathetic and always reassured that they could find a solution for me. It was like a great weight had lifted from my shoulders after speaking with them. Their advice was sound, they were always contactable and willing to take the time to speak or return my emails on every occasion.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
True professional service carried out in a friendly, personal, non judgemental, reassuring fashion
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Always returned calls and emails promptly
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
I cannot think of anything that could be improved.
Other points
My IVA was accepted. My dividend is 55 pence. I make 54 monthly repayments of £280. Then my jointly owned property will be revalued. If there is sufficient equity and if I am in a position to remortgage to release my share of equity, I must do this to repay a final lump sum of £16656. If I cannot afford to remortgage, I must raise £16656 from a 3rd party, or extend the IVA for a further 12 months. My dividend is 55 pence. In all I think of this experience as a chance to start afresh on a new clean sheet. I will be disciplined and focused to repay my debts. I can only thank McCambridge Duffy for making this possible for me. I will be eternally grateful for all their help.

    Good Points
Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
