My circumstances:
Manager in the Midlands. I had £172K of debt and property with an equity value of less than £100K
My interaction with the company:
Original plan was to try and remortgage our property to release equity and fund a 1 month IVA, (i.e. settled by one lump sum payment), interesting concept but the numbers didnt work. It took quite some time to confirm that this was not going to fly. Once we had decided to take the IVA route the process was quite rapid.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
Good communicators, fair and reasonable. Explained all the pros & cons very well.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Handling of the Creditors meeting.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
 
Other points
41 months into the 60 month agreement - its been very tough but we can begin to see that we will get through this. Raising the final £60K payment will be interesting unless the mortgage market improves. Likelihood is that we will have to sell up & downsize significantly.

Comment: i am also with freeman jones in my contract it states at the end of the 5 years you will be asked to remortgage to pay the remainder of the debt but if there isnt the equity in your property you will be asked to pay a maximum of an extra 12 months payments.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
