My circumstances:
I am a single parent living in essex, i had an 36k tax bill and a property with 100k equity. I had offered inland revenue an out of court settlement, but they refused. I tried to remorgage but was turned down due to credit crunch. I had a court date pending at the high court . I really did not know which way to turn
My interaction with the company:
I phoned Debt lifeboat and spoke to a mr David Cottrill , he listened to my situation and recommended IVA, they posted form, i completed and returned . My IVA was accepted at the creditor meeting .Whilst all this was taking place i made several telephone calls to Debt Lifeboat , on every occasion they were very proffesional, helpful and very reassuring.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I rated them 10 out of 10 as they were brilliant!! I was about to lose my home , i could not see any way out of my situation,as a last resort i rang them . I wish i had called them sooner. I was so impressed with the way they handeled my case , they took all the pressure of me. I felt very confident with them as i felt i could trust them . I can not thank them enough .
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
I only had a few days before i had to go to court, Debt Lifeboat called me on a sunday to go over a few things regarding my IVA. I could not belive that they called me on a sunday . Excellent .

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
