My circumstances:
I had debt built up from relatives using cards which they then could not pay back which forced me into this IVA. It was scary as I had never been through any of this before. Overall Debt 40k
My interaction with the company:
I was called by a company who put me in touch with them. From the start they were very supportive of my problem and very understanding. I discussed everything over the phone. Proposal was put to the practitioner and within a day the propsal came back to say it could go ahead. Before I knew it the IVA was being proposed in court and the creditors being notified of a meeting. The IVA was accepted and all the calls have now stopped...
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I could not fault this company. They were so understanding and took all the pressure away. They dealt with every aspect for me in this really scary time. All I had to do was get redemption figures etc.<br> Its going to be a long 5 years but now i know I wont have to spend the next 40 years in Debt! to which I never made!
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Their understanding, non judgmental and way they took the pressure off of you.

IVA was accepted in March. £300 a month over 5 years paying back about £18K, written off about £22K.

Comment: i am 2 1/2 years into an IVA with McDuffy. They have been very good throughout - and i can only echo this users exeprience of their help and understanding

Comment: I am considering an IVA with them too. Good to see someone else had good experiences. Definitely going to go for it.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
