I contacted ClearDebt over the internet, as I felt more comfortable using that method. Some forms were sent to me to complete, from which they proposed an IVA. The proposal was sent to me and I then had a meeting with an advisor from close to my home town, and my IVA was accepted at the creditors meeting. I was able to attend the meeting by telephone, and the advisor I spoke to on the day was very friendly and pleasant.
